Symbolism through technology
"The
World Trade Center was unique in its structure. Both towers were
an unprecedented 110 stories tall. The South Tower stood at 1,368
feet, while North Tower was slightly shorter at 1,362 feet. From
the observation deck of the South Tower, it was possible to see
45 miles in every direction (building big). Available on each of
the 110 floors was 43200 square feet of office space, almost an
acre of land. There were also seven levels underground that included
shopping, services, and three major New York subway stations, the
IRT, BMT, and IND. The WTC also used an elevator system that involved
two unique sky lobbies on the 44th and 78th floor."
